Psilocybin ceremony explained

Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in several species of mushrooms. When ingested, psilocybin is converted to psilocin which binds to specific serotonin receptors in the brain. This causes changes in perception, thought patterns, and altered states of consciousness. Psilocybin has been shown to have therapeutic potential for treating a range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, and addiction.

One way that a psilocybin ceremony can change perception is by creating a sense of unity and interconnectedness with the world and others. This is because the drug can deactivate and activate parts of the brain that are normally not active during normal waking consciousness. In this altered state, individuals may feel a profound sense of empathy and connection to others and nature. This can lead to a shift in perspective and a greater appreciation for the interconnectivity of life.

Group ceremonies are offered as a way to enhance the therapeutic potential of psilocybin. The group setting allows individuals to share their experiences and support one another through the journey. This can be especially beneficial for individuals who may feel isolated or disconnected from others in their daily lives. The shared experience can also create a sense of community and belonging, which can help individuals feel more grounded and connected after the psilocybin ceremony.

The group psilocybin ceremonies that we offer are led by our experienced facilitators who can guide participants through the experience and help them integrate the insights gained into their daily lives. The facilitator can also provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions and thoughts, which can be particularly important for those who may have experienced trauma or other challenging life experiences.

The different Psilocybin ceremonies

During our psilocybin truffle ceremonies, we allow our customers to choose between a psilocybin-only experience or one that incorporates other natural elements. The optional additives include cocoa, blue lotus, and passionflower. During all our truffle ceremonies you can choose to add cacao plus Blue lotus or Passionflower.

Sharing intentions or goals

For the participants who want to share their goals and intentions, we will conduct a round of sharing. Sometimes, the group’s theme can also be used to explain what we want to achieve.

Starting the truffle ceremony

During the beginning of the magic truffle phase of the ceremony, we will tell you what to expect, how to handle the effects, and what to do during the ceremony. After 15 minutes, the first effects can arise, and the experience can still be shared with others during this time.

Long introspection

After 45 minutes from the first dose of magic truffles, we will offer a second round as a booster. After the second round, we will let the truffles do their magic and go for the inner journey. Speaking is prohibited unless it is necessary to feel safe. During the unspoken phase, the music will serve as a guide during this 3-5 hour introspection.

Coming down

During the “coming down,” the need to move, talk, or eat may return. In case you are hungry, we can offer you some food while others gradually regain normal consciousness.

Dinner

After the effects of the psilocybin truffles wear off, we’ll make a healthy dinner with naturel foods that help you recover the used minerals and energy.

Sharing circle

After dinner, those who want to share their journey and findings can participate in our sharing circle. We only ask that you share what you want, so it’s okay to keep it private or take more time to process.

End of ceremony | overnight stay

After the sharing circle, we’ll end the ceremony. Those who want to go home are free to do so. Please be aware that driving is usually only possible the next day. In case you want or need to stay over, it’s possible to do so.

Next day: Breakfast and closing event

During the morning after the ceremony, we will have breakfast ready for you. For those who want to have a conversation, we will be available for you during this morning. For the ones who decided to leave early, we can arrange a phone call a few days later.
